Great to meet you!
I am a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a deep commitment to providing holistic, patient-centered care. My academic journey began at Brown University, where I majored in Human Biology: Brain and Behavior, igniting her fascination with the intricate connection between the mind and body. I would go on to teach elementary and middle school for nearly 10 years. Driven by a desire to make an even greater impact in healthcare, I transitioned into nursing and pursued a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s Degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner from Emory University. I began my career as a FNP in a rural community, where I quickly recognized the pressing need for mental health resources. Witnessing the challenges faced by individuals seeking care, I was inspired to further my education and obtained a certification in psychiatric mental health from Southeastern Louisiana University. This additional training allows me to provide comprehensive care, addressing both physical and mental health concerns with a deep understanding of their intersection.
