I'm Brandy, a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years experience in the field- and most of that time has been in the work other people avoid: grief, trauma, dementia care, end-of-life, caregivers running on empty, people in the middle of a hard season. I am Native American and Caucasian, and my heritage shapes how I show up- I understand what it's like when your culture, your family, and your history are part of the picture. I work with adults and seniors, and I keep it real: no jargon, no worksheets you'll never look at again, no pretending therapy has a script.

Therapy works when the relationship works, so that's where we start. You set the pace- we go where you're ready to go, not where a treatment plan says we should be by week three. I am direct, and I use dark humor where it fits; if you want someone to nod silently at you, I'm probably not your person. I pull from CBT, SFBT, motivational interviewing, ACT, and DBT techniques- whatever actually fits you. My job is to help you take an honest look at what's working and what isn't, and walk with you while you change.

You'll get honest, warmth, and someone who actually listens. We'll figure out what you want your life to look like and build toward it, one realistic step at a time. If you've been told to just 'sit with your feelings' for the tenth time and it isn't landing, we'll try something that does.
