Great to meet you!

I am Brandy, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW/LCSW) offering compassionate and specialized psychotherapy services to adults in California, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. I am also a U.S. military Veteran with multiple deployments, and my lived experience deeply informs the care I provide. My own healing journey, combined with my service background and professional training, has shaped an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy that honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I am an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist and offer evidence-based trauma treatment to help clients process and heal from painful life experiences. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the emotional impact of serious health diagnoses. Whether you're coping with the aftermath of trauma or facing a new chapter in life, I offer a collaborative, supportive space focused on strengthening your resilience, restoring your sense of self, and promoting lasting emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW/LCSW), my approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported — a place where you don’t have to carry everything alone. As an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist, I help clients move beyond simply talking about painful experiences and instead gently process and resolve them so they no longer feel as overwhelming or stuck. EMDR can be especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and distressing life events, allowing your nervous system to settle and your confidence to grow. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or the impact of a serious health diagnosis, we’ll work together at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools so you can experience lasting relief and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

What you can expect from me

Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can navigate and overcome and habits that have been holding you back from greater peace.
