Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years in the field, and I work with both adults and couples. Throughout my career, I've worked with family preservation services working with parents and children in their home, intensive outpatient (IOP) groups with a diverse population and private practice. I earned my bachelor's degree in behavioral science (with a minor in sociology) from York College of Pennsylvania, and my Master's in Social Work from Rutgers University. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, trauma, self care and prioritizing yourself.

Please note my schedule doesn't always reflect my availability. We can discuss a schedule that works for us during our consultation.

My approach to therapy

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — which basically means we look at how your thoughts shape the way you feel and experience the world. A small shift in perspective can make a huge difference, and that's what we work toward together. I'm also a big believer in self-care and making yourself a priority — not as a luxury, but as a necessity.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative and active process focused on meaningful change. In our sessions, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying patterns that may be contributing to current challenges--all in a safe and judgment free environment. You will learn practical coping skills to manage stress and other difficulties, while gaining insight into how your perspectives influence both how you feel and how you respond.

Growth continues outside of session through practicing the tools and strategies we develop together. The goal is for you to feel empowered, confident, and motivated to use these skills independently as you navigate life’s challenges.
