Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Brannon. With 30 years of experience in the psychiatric field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. My journey began in high-stakes environments such as detoxification units, emergency rooms, and hospitals, where I spent the first two decades of my career. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to handle a wide range of mental health issues with confidence and compassion.

I've also worked in community mental health, where I gained valuable experience in crisis assessment, case management, and behavioral health administration. My specialties include working with major mental health issues in both teens and adults. I have advanced training in addictions, trauma work (EMDR), and crisis interventions, which equips me to support clients through some of their most challenging times.

I hold a PhD in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a Master's degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary. As an evangelical Christian and ordained minister, I have the unique ability to integrate pastoral and soul care into my practice, using a Biblical worldview to guide my therapeutic approach.

Currently, I run my private practice, Tetelestai Counseling Center, PLLC, based in Aurora, CO. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, providing flexible options to meet your needs. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, work through challenges, and find a path to healing and growth.

If you're ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I'm here to help. Let's work together to achieve your goals and improve your well-being.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate an eclectic approach of CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-focused methods.

What you can expect from me

Intake sessions are spent getting to know each other to assess the fitness/appropriateness of the match therapeutically. Moreover, initial treatment goals will be established and plans made to address those goals.
