Great to meet you!

My name is Brant Bird. I began working in the Mental Health arena in 2022 as a high school counselor. In 2024 I gained my LPC-Associate license and began seeing clients. In 2026 I completed my Associate hours and earned an LPC. I continue to work as a school counselor in addition to my private practice. I grew up in Africa, where I was the son of missionaries. My 8 years in Africa greatly impacted my world view. I love helping clients to become the best version of themselves. I am a certified Grief Recovery Method Therapist. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults

My approach to therapy

I believe the client/therapist relationship is critical to success in counseling. Establishing a strong rapport is essential to how I work as a counselor. I specialize in grief counseling, I am certified by the Grief Recovery Institute, as well as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I see clients ranging in age from 8 to senior citizen.

What you can expect from me

After meeing with me in a first session, I aim to have a thorough understanding of what the client is seeking, have the client know who I am as a therapist, and have several goals mapped out for future sessions and ultimate long term success.
