Great to meet you!

Breána is a proud HBCU graduate, licensed mental health practitioner, clinical scholar and small-business entrepreneur. She is trained in classic systems theories and is competent in CBT, Imago and Emotionally Focused interventions. She is depth oriented, with a relational approach to narrative and social constructionist therapies. Breána is mindfully and trauma informed, as well kink, queer, non-monogamous and poly friendly. Breana is only taking private pay clients at this time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Breána is a collaborative psychotherapist who seeks to guide clients through a process of self-discovery and empowerment. She provides practical tools for maintaining day-to-day mental health hygiene and constructive, critical dialogue for self-development.

Breána takes a decolonial approach to sex, romance and coupling. Her practice is aimed to support folkx in safely exploring alternatives to modern, Western-American coupling norms and culture. She centers pleasure, desire and eroticism.

What you can expect from our first session

Breána’s private practice tends to be intimate, gradual, co-collaborative and flexible. Breána loves to laugh, believes in change and the power of humane relationships. Her work often has developed into long term therapeutic relationships, though she prefers shorter termed scheduling for couples and families (under a year). Clients will find they have a professional ally along their mental health journey and a safe secure space to explore their inner world.

Breana's style is
