Great to meet you!

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief or loss, identity concerns, maternal mental health challenges, or ongoing stress, you do not have to figure everything out on your own. We can explore how past experiences and current circumstances influence the way you feel, relate to others, and move through the world. Our work can also make space for concerns related to ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, men's and women's issues, transgender issues, and chronic health conditions, as they relate to your experiences and therapeutic goals. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your ability to manage difficult emotions, and develop practical strategies that feel realistic for your everyday life. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, honoring both the challenges you carry and the strengths that will help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing begins when you feel understood, supported, and accepted as you are. I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where we can explore how anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and PTSD may be affecting your daily life, relationships, and sense of self. I recognize that each person’s experiences are unique, and our work will be guided by your individual needs, strengths, and goals. Through Strengths-Based Therapy, we will build on the resilience and abilities you already possess; Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) will help you better understand, process, and navigate difficult emotions; Somatic Therapy will support greater awareness of how stress and past experiences may be held in the body; Internal Family Systems (IFS) will help us explore different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion; and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) will help you recognize and shift thought and behavior patterns that may be contributing to distress. When trauma is part of your story, we can incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help process difficult experiences, alongside attachment-focused approaches that explore how early relationships and experiences may influence your sense of safety and connection. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, develop tools that support your emotional wellbeing, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is not about becoming someone else or having all the answers. It is about understanding yourself more deeply, building a stronger relationship with yourself and others, and finding new ways to respond to life's challenges. I welcome adults, children, adolescents, and seniors, and offer individual, child and adolescent, and family therapy. No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable, with care, curiosity, and respect for your experiences. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.
