Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Breanna. One of the things I’ve come to appreciate most about this work is that there’s always more to a person than what brings them to therapy. We all carry a story. Some parts we know by heart, while others we may still be finding our way toward. Therapy gives us a place to become more deeply acquainted with ourselves, to understand what has shaped us, and to make room for what we may still be discovering. Along the way, we can wonder together about what matters to you, what you want for yourself, and what a meaningful life might look like for you.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I especially enjoy working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and periods of feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. I have additional training in trauma-focused approaches, including EMDR.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, engaged, and curious. I’m interested in what it’s like to be you and how you’ve come to understand yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. I’ll bring curiosity, questions, and what I’m noticing to our conversations, while leaving room for us to discover together what feels meaningful to you.

There’s room for depth in our work, but also for humor and the ordinary moments that make us who we are. I don’t believe there is one right way to do therapy, so our work may look different depending on who you are, what brings you in, and what you need along the way.

What you can expect from me

Therapy doesn’t require having the right words or knowing exactly where to begin. You may have a story you’re ready to tell, a question you’ve been carrying, or just a sense that something needs to change. Wherever you’re starting from, we can begin there and figure out the rest together.

Our first session is a chance to begin getting to know one another. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy and what’s been happening in your life, and there will be plenty of room for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether we might work well together.
