Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Bree Martin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #163961) with over four years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and emotional overwhelm. My background includes community mental health and crisis intervention, where I gained extensive experience supporting clients through some of their most difficult moments.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can be your authentic self. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthy coping skills, and create lasting change at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for personal growth, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it’s collaborative. Rather than telling you what to do, we’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies that fit your life.

I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered techniques while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. I focus on helping clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, build self-esteem, and develop healthier coping skills.

Above all, I strive to create a compassionate, supportive environment where clients feel heard, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify your current concerns, and talk about what you’d like to accomplish through treatment.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll develop goals for therapy and create a plan that supports your unique needs.

My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that you have someone in your corner.
