Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Breecole Valdez! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Moods Counseling Services. I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and have since dedicated myself to helping people navigate mental health challenges with compassion, understanding, and a down-to-earth vibe. My experience includes leading mental health and DBT IOP groups at Aurora Behavioral Health, and interning at Healthy Futures in Scottsdale.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a holistic, authentic approach to treatment, where your comfort and safety come first. Therapy with me involves addressing tough challenges and complex traumas while also discovering moments of relief and laughter. It’s a space for open, honest conversations and healing, balanced with positive experiences. My goal is to make therapy something you look forward to, where growth and connection are seamlessly intertwined.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, I focus on connecting aspects of your life, guiding you through challenges, and creating insightful "ah-ha" moments. I tailor therapy with CBT and DBT techniques to fit your needs. Understanding the difficulty of mental health battles on a personal level, I create an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment where you feel truly heard and understood. This allows me to offer a unique perspective and challenge you in supportive ways on your path to recovery.
