Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Dr. Gibson. As a licensed psychologist, I support individuals facing a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have specialized experience with marginalized clients, navigating identity development, race/ethnicity, vocational growth, immigration, generational challenges, and affirming care for LGBTQ+/QPOC.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in multicultural counseling from a social justice,

decolonized and reimagined lens while utilizing aspects of psychodynamic, interpersonal

process, and cognitive-behavioral interventions. I believe in helping clients meet their therapeutic goals by fostering a space for vulnerability, building rapport and trust, and supporting them as we journey together.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to build a strong rapport and a sense of safety, allowing us to work effectively toward your goals. I strive to strike a balance of warmth and gentleness while challenging you to reach your goals.
