Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Bren — I’ve spent the past 18 years as a licensed therapist helping people navigate life’s twists, turns, and growing pains. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we explore challenges like anxiety, depression, life transitions, stepping into independence, relationship conflict, disconnection, loneliness, and emotional regulation.

I specialize in relationships — with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. I work with adults 20 and older, and practice from a transgender affirming perspective that embraces and celebrates people of all genders. ( letters of support for gender affirming surgeries can be provided). My approach is grounded in the belief that you can turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones — and I’m here to help you do just that.

My approach to therapy

I believe that one of the most powerful aspects of the therapy process is the relationship between the therapist and client, the therapeutic relationship. Our work together needs to be collaborative so that you feel both supported and safe. To achieve this I will adjust my style in order to best fit your needs and help you reach your counseling goals I invite and encourage you to ask questions about your session. I honor your inquisitiveness about your own process.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal to have you leave your sessions feeling lighter, supported, heard and understood. I would like you to feel both empowered and curious about your process and the changes you have made. Together I will help you learn skills and tools to turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones.
