Hi.l have almost 30 years of experience doing private practice. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and and Masters Degree in Counseling Education from Ohio University. I have seen clients from many ages, but I specialize in Adults and the Geriatric Population. Working with the worried well population and seeing clients with depression, anxiety, life stressors, grief etc.
I have a very warm approach and down to earth style. Wanting my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Supportive Therapy. I typically am focused on adults and the geriatric population.
The first session we will focus on goals that client wants to achieve and the best way to approach it. Gathering some basic background on the client so that I know how best to work with the client. Trying to make the client feels as comfortable as possible.
