I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor -SUPV, located in Ohio. I have many years of experience in community, office-based counseling, as well as tele-therapy and private practice. I have worked with clients of many ages including teenagers through adults, with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger, trauma, life changes, relationship issues, family issues and more. I feel my proficiencies lie with teenagers, adults, and couples/family counseling.

My approach leans toward solution focused therapy, as I believe that unless the stressful issues that we deal with every day are resolved, we cannot focus on our mental health, because we are going back into the same situations that cause the stress. I encourage my clients to find hope for the future, for without hope, we cannot continue forward and make progress in our life. I use supportive, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, faith and strengths based approaches.

The goals in therapy are yours. Tell me what you want to accomplish through therapy, and I will help guide you to meet those goals. I use common sense and humor to help you feel comfortable. You will feel less stress and be able to make it through another week until we meet again. You will make progress as you do the work. I can't do it for you. You will feel empowered to make progress.
