Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most effective when it’s both structured and deeply human. My approach blends clinical expertise with compassion, helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of grief, anxiety, relationship conflict, and unresolved trauma. I show up with warmth, clarity, and directness—inviting clients to feel both seen and challenged as they grow.

With a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-focused modalities, and integrative couples work (Gottman Method, Bowen Family Systems, and more), I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are, whether that means grounding tools to manage stress, helping reestablish healthy boundaries, or exploring grief with courage and creativity.

Clients have described my style as empowering, affirming, and insightful. Together, we turn loops of self-judgment into pathways of emotional clarity and resilience.

I hold an Ed.S. and M.S. in Counseling from Mississippi College and have extensive experience supporting adults, couples, and LGBTQ+ clients across diverse backgrounds.

My practice is informed by a commitment to inclusivity, cultural humility, and healing the spaces where people feel misunderstood, depleted, or disconnected.

If you’re navigating loss, identity shifts, relationship stress, or simply feel ready to reconnect with your voice. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, affirming, and deeply human. I believe healing begins when we create a space that feels safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be challenged, and purposeful enough to foster change.

I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Gottman Method couples' work. I also draw from Bowen Family Systems and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients gain clarity, build emotional regulation skills, and reshape unhelpful patterns. Whether I’m supporting an individual navigating grief, anger, or anxiety or helping a couple rebuild trust after rupture. I tailor each session to your needs with warmth, direction, and presence.

Clients often describe my style as empowering, direct, and compassionate. My work is informed by over a decade of experience, a deep respect for culture and identity, and a belief in your capacity to grow even in the messiness.

In therapy with me, you can expect a collaborative process: we’ll explore what’s been hard, practice new tools, and build toward insight and self-trust. My role is to walk alongside you as you rediscover your voice and realign with what matters most.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away with greater emotional clarity, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Whether we're addressing anger that feels too big to hold, navigating the grief that keeps resurfacing, or rebuilding trust in a strained relationship, our work will be grounded in honesty, compassion, and collaboration.

Together, we’ll identify the patterns that no longer serve you and practice new strategies that support regulation, boundaries, and communication. I offer both structure and warmth, space for you to be heard, and support to help you shift from surviving to meaningfully reconnecting with your needs, values, and relationships.

Over time, many of my clients' report feeling more empowered, more equipped, and more like themselves.

My goal is for you to leave each session with something that feels useful whether that’s a new insight, a moment of emotional release, or a tool you can apply immediately in your daily life.
