Brenda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified in Tele-mental Health. Brenda holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Lamar University. She has previous experience working with adults and adolescents who have encountered grief/loss, behavior issues, trauma, eating disorders as well as mood and anxiety disorders. Brenda also worked for a non-profit providing services to victims & offenders of Domestic Violence.

She has been utilizing skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, REBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
