Great to meet you!

I’m Brenda Trejo, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 6 years of clinical experience providing therapy to adults navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, attachment wounds, inner child healing, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I am EMDR Certified and have additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, nervous system regulation, and trauma-focused care. My work also focuses on high-functioning adults experiencing burnout, perfectionism, creative blocks, performance stress, and difficulties reconnecting with themselves emotionally. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels supportive, collaborative, grounded, and emotionally safe for healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I integrate EMDR therapy, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, emotional regulation, and reflective insight-oriented work to support deeper healing and emotional clarity. Together we explore not only symptoms, but also the underlying experiences, beliefs, and patterns that shape your emotional world. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels calm, emotionally safe, supportive, and deeply human.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to slow down and begin understanding what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying emotionally, and what support you’re hoping to receive. My goal is to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together we’ll explore your goals, discuss your experiences, and begin building a path toward healing, emotional clarity, and greater self-trust.
