I am Brenda Valencia, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a social worker for 9 years and have worked in a mental health hospital for the last 4 years. Mental health is something I am very passionate about. I love to talk to people to see how we can work together to tackle tough issues.
My approach to helping clients is very laid back. I like to begin where the client is and work together to come up with solutions. Active listening and being non judgmental are the keys to help a client feel comfortable.
Client can expect a supportive session and creating goals to reach for. Client will be able to learn new skills to help in day to day living.
