Great to meet you!

As a strong advocate of mental wellness and wholeness, I provide warm, gentle, compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you can gain clarity and gather the courage to help you transform your life and relationships. I have extensive experience working with older teens and adults form diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds who are struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, grief & loss and stress. However, my true passion is helping couples in every stage of their relationship cultivate a deeper emotional and connection that lasts a lifetime.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic - honoring the connection between mind, body and spirit in each individual. I work from a relational framework, and use Prepare-Enrich, Gottman Method and Emotionally-Focused Therapy principles. I also use tools and techniques that I have developed over the years. My desire is to help individuals, couples and families achieve emotional wholeness so they can enjoy healthy and happy relationships.

What you can expect from me

We will begin our work together gently and intentionally. The first session will be a conversation about you, your background and what brings you to counseling now. We will identify what is most urgent to you and what you wish to change. We will discuss the practical aspects of therapy and what I can contribute to your growth and healing. All this will be done in a space where you can tell the truth about your struggle without fear of criticism or shame.
