Great to meet you!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Services and a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I offer services in both English and Spanish, bringing a culturally responsive approach that values family, community, and personal identity. Parenting support is at the heart of my work. I walk alongside caregivers who are striving to break cycles, manage stress, and show up more fully for their children and themselves. Together, we explore communication patterns, attachment dynamics, and realistic routines that support the whole family. I offer a strengths-based lens that validates the challenges of parenting while nurturing growth, connection, and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative presence to the therapeutic space. My approach is deeply rooted in compassion and attunement to each client’s lived experience, especially during transitional periods like pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood. I understand the emotional complexity of these seasons and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore identity shifts, overwhelm, and the unspoken challenges of caregiving and maternal mental health.

What you can expect from me

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating mood fluctuations, anxiety, and overwhelm—whether they stem from life transitions or the weight of daily responsibilities. My work integrates mindfulness-based practices, shame-informed care, and practical tools for emotional regulation, helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and in control. Whether clients are dealing with persistent irritability, sadness, or burnout, I meet them with curiosity and strategies that honor both their emotional and nervous system needs.
