Great to meet you!

I graduated from the University of Houston in 2015 with a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. I have worked in a variety of settings from long term care facilities, and federal prisons and almost everything in-between. Previously, I have worked with children in foster care, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families. My areas of expertise include trauma treatment, neurodivergence, and parent support.

My approach to therapy

Using a relational lens, I try to meet each client where they are in life, whether they have been to therapy before, or it's their first time. My approach is direct, honest, and warm. It's my goal to walk with my clients towards the life and experience they want for themselves. I try to foster curiosity about their experience and promote a growth mindset. I want my clients to know that, no matter, the path, I am with them on the journey.

What you can expect from me

During a first appointment, my goal is to collect as much information as I can while creating a sense of comfort, honesty, and collaboration. After a first session, my goal for my clients is to feel a sense of relief and hope, along with the courage to continue therapy.
