Great to meet you!
Hello! I’m Brenna, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio with over nine years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I believe that therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, accepted, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kent State University and my Master of Social Work (Clinical/Micro Practice) from The University of Akron. I primarily work with adults ages 18 and older.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, codependency, personality and mood disorders, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, and addiction. I have specialized experience treating substance use disorders.
I also have a special passion for maternal mental health. Becoming a parent can be one of life’s most rewarding experiences, but it can also bring unexpected challenges. As a mother of two young children myself, I understand many of the emotional, physical, and identity shifts that accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I enjoy helping mothers navigate prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, adjust to the demands of motherhood, and prioritize their own mental well-being while caring for their families.
