Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have six years of experience working in private practice. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals navigating a range of challenges, with a particular focus on anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem, and the development of healthy coping skills. I work with children, preteens, teenagers, young adults, and adults, and I strive to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and developmental stage. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that life is a continuous journey of growth and self discovery, where challenges are an essential part of reaching one’s full potential. I strive to help clients not only work toward their goals, but also develop the ability to find meaning and resilience throughout the process. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment rooted in unconditional positive regard, empathy, and compassion. Within this space, clients are encouraged to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Rather than directing or prescribing solutions, I guide clients in developing greater self awareness and insight, empowering them to access their own internal strengths and answers. Through this collaborative process, clients are supported in building confidence, enhancing coping skills, and aligning their actions with their values, allowing them to move toward becoming their most authentic and fulfilled selves.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming and supportive space where they feel comfortable, heard, and understood. The initial session focuses on getting to know the client exploring their reasons for seeking therapy, their current concerns, and any relevant background information. Clients are encouraged to share at their own pace, without pressure or judgment. During this time, I aim to build rapport by offering empathy, unconditional positive regard, and compassion, helping clients feel safe in expressing their thoughts and emotions openly. We will also begin to identify initial goals for therapy and discuss what the client hopes to gain from the process. Overall, the first session is an opportunity to establish trust, create a strong therapeutic foundation, and begin a collaborative journey toward growth and self discovery.
