Great to meet you!

Hello! I’ve worked in the community for 6 years, helping folks with complex trauma and severe mental illness take back control of their lives. I want to help people gain a more complete understanding of themselves, and learn the best ways for themselves to process experiences both good and bad. I hope to help folks develop resilience and coping skills to identify what a rich and meaningful life means to you, and equip you with the tools to get there.

My approach to therapy

I approach every client from a strengths-based perspective, as we identify what your goals are and how to get there. I primarily incorporate Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology. I utilize a fair amount of mindfulness based interventions, and provide Psycho-education to help people gain a better understanding behind the why of things.

What you can expect from me

I hope clients walk away from me feeling equipped to better control their actions and reactions to emotions, as well has having better insight into their own overall emotional health. I hope to get all my clients to the point where they can graduate from therapy!
