Great to meet you!

I received my counseling degree from St. John Fisher University before beginning my work in outpatient community mental health, specializing in working with children, teens, and parents. I have a love for all things "geeky" and have spent much of my professional life honing my ability to combine my interests with my counseling expertise. I am a certified therapeutic game master and frequently utilize popular media, video games, and storytelling within my sessions.

My approach to therapy

I offer mental health counseling tailored to the unique needs of each client, blending evidence-based strategies with creative and engaging approaches. My work is rooted in a person-centered framework, where your voice, values, and experiences guide the process. I specialize in using geek therapy and creative arts therapy techniques to make sessions more accessible, expressive, and personally meaningful—especially for young people who connect through gaming, fandoms, storytelling, and the arts. I also integrate tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills, reframe unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their own story in an empowering way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more equipped to handle life’s challenges. Whether it's building confidence, developing coping tools, improving relationships, or gaining insight into themselves, my goal is to help clients grow in self-understanding and emotional strength.
