Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you've lost your sense of direction. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck in a place you never expected to be, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin moving forward again.

I'm Brent Bailey, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I work with adults who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling lost, disconnected, exhausted, or unsure of who they are after a major life event, relationship, loss, or period of prolonged stress. Together, we explore what's keeping you stuck while building practical tools and insight to help you move toward the life you want.

I welcome clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, life transitions, ADHD, substance use concerns, and relationship difficulties. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where people can show up authentically, feel understood, and develop a deeper connection with themselves.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step. If you're feeling lost, uncertain, or ready for a different chapter in your life, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.

Strength starts with honesty.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I have a special interest in trauma recovery and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful therapy approach that can help individuals process painful experiences and reduce the impact those experiences continue to have on their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I believe it’s important for you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very beginning.

We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will ask questions about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and previous experiences with therapy so I can better understand your unique situation. This process helps us identify patterns, clarify priorities, and develop a plan that aligns with your needs and values.

By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we will work together, what areas we may focus on in treatment, and some initial goals for therapy. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work as a team to create meaningful and achievable objectives that support your growth and well-being.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, you can expect a compassionate environment where you are encouraged to be yourself and where your experiences are met with curiosity, empathy, and respect.
