Great to meet you!

I'm in recovery too. After losing everything to my addiction, I went back to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor. My brother died from a heroin overdose; my wife left me over my addiction; I lost my career; I lost my home. I know all too well the devastating effects of addiction. I am blessed to be in recovery. I'm here to help you overcome your addiction too.

My approach to therapy

I would describe my counseling style as eclectic. I know all of the theories and I borrow a little from this one and a little from that one. First and foremost, every client is a person. I treat every client with dignity and respect--no judgment. I'm in recovery myself and I'm told this helps me to be "relatable". I genuinely care about the well-being of my clients and I will do anything within my power to help them be successful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I really like to hear your story. This helps me to get to know you and what it is that has brought you to seek help. The better I understand you and your situation, the better I can help you.
