Hi, I'm Bret. I got my BA in Psychology from LMU and my MA in Counseling Psychology from National University. I am a SoCal native and have been interested in psychology and mental health for as long as I can remember. Outside of work I like surfing, camping, cats, and classic cars.
Warm but also pragmatic. I believe the therapeutic relationship is important to therapy but that there should also be a process of exploration, deepening-insight, and changing negative patterns.
Feeling seen, heard, and understood. Hopefully some new insights or a new perspective of the presenting problem. Maybe even a good quote!
