Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brett Cutts, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. With over three years of experience, I specialize in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, religious trauma, and existential concerns. Using existential therapy, I focus on exploring your values and beliefs to create meaningful change. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, being outdoors, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and spending time with my two cats.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to counseling focuses on an equal and collaborative relationship between myself and the client. I seek to assist those working with me to reach their goals through finding their authentic self in a safe and supportive space. I hope to provide empathy and understanding while guiding clients to achieve their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Many mentors and colleagues in the counseling field have shared a valuable insight with me: “80% of the work happens outside of the therapy room.” I embrace this philosophy by striving to provide clients with meaningful insights and strategies to reflect on between sessions. My goal is to help clients address current challenges while also equipping them with the tools and confidence to navigate future difficulties on their own.
