Great to meet you!

I'm Brett Magit, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University (NYU). I believe that prioritizing and nurturing your mental health helps you live a fuller, happier life. The focus of my training and experience has been on supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on your unique goals and experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative. Together, we'll create a space that feels safe, open, and accepting that will allow for open and honest communication that will lead to true healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you and understanding what you’re going through. I aim to create a space where you feel heard and at ease, and where your story and goals can begin to take shape as we start this work together.
