Great to meet you!

Sometimes life doesn't go the way we expected. You may be carrying anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. Reaching out for help can feel difficult, but you don't have to figure things out alone.

For more than 35 years, I've worked with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, substance use, chronic health issues, and mood disorders. I believe meaningful change is possible at every stage of life.

What drives my work is personal as well as professional experience. I know firsthand what it's like to struggle with anxiety and depression, and I believe there is always hope and a path forward. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate space where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged as we work toward lasting change together.

My approach to therapy

No two people experience life in exactly the same way, which is why I take an individualized approach to therapy. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and grounded in genuine human connection.

My work draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, family systems, and relational approaches. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while identifying strengths and building practical tools for change.

I also believe therapy doesn't always have to feel heavy. Humor, authenticity, and hope can be powerful parts of the healing process.

What you can expect from me

Our first sessions are an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your goals, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and identify the changes you'd like to make in your life.

You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are valued and your goals matter. My hope is that you'll leave sessions feeling heard, encouraged, and equipped with practical strategies you can use in everyday life.
