Great to meet you!

I am a Chicago native who has been practicing in Georgia for 8 years. I received my bachelor’s degree from the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Psychology , a master's in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling, and am actively pursuing a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership from Adler University. I am a fun, loving, compassionate leader and servant to my community, and I bring elements of myself through my experience and training. I’m not an expert on all things, just my experience, and I like to help my clients navigate their own expertise and sharpen their skillsets.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) along with trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, and creative arts therapies. I'm focused on safety and authenticity. I want you to feel safe to be your most authentic self to help you reach your goals!

What you can expect from me

Typically, I have an assignment where you create a timeline of life events from birth to present. This can be done as detailed as you like and using creative expression such as PowerPoints, playlist, or simply writing bullets. We will discuss this, mutually identify themes, and use this as a basis of our work together along with your therapeutic goals.
