Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by past trauma or struggling with substance use? Has life become so hard that you don't feel like trying anymore? Or does anxiety rule your life, preventing you from enjoying being around people or other activities? You are not alone, and help is within reach.

As a Masters level licensed counselor, I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating the deep and complex challenges of trauma and addiction. With compassionate, evidence-based care, I try to create a safe space for healing, recovery, and growth.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to partner with you to reach the goals you have for yourself. In our initial sessions, we'll discuss openly what has been happening and develop a plan to help you get back on track and feel better. I begin by discussing your history and getting a sense of what you hope to accomplish in therapy. I like to have a plan for the session, but remain flexible to the events in the client's life since we last met.

What you can expect from me

Each session should provide the client with a sense of empowerment through learning new skills. Often, clients leave the session with a greater focus and clarity of mind regarding the issues they've addressed during the session.
