Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I'm an Army and Air Force veteran and understand firsthand the stressors of military life. I served as a Military Family Life Counselor in Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Colorado. Additionally, I've worked in an addiction clinic in Brooklyn, NY and in the VA system. I specialize in veteran care, Complex PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety, and combat trauma.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a personal journey. I utilize an eclectic approach, custom-tailored to the client. I draw upon evidenced-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapy.

What you can expect from me

Practical goals include reduction in symptoms and better overall functioning. Existential goals include a meaningful experience of being alive and hope. We'll work together to transform your festering emotional wound into a heart-scar, a sign of a strong, resilient character that has achieved post-traumatic growth.
