Great to meet you!
Hi there, my name is Brian and I have 10+ years of experience working with adults struggling with anxiety and depression stemming from overwhelming life events, lack of direction, and crises in meaning.
Major adjustments like changes in professional or family roles, grief, midlife stressors, job loss, or retirement can strain our ability to handle everyday tasks, exacerbate our bad habits, and leave us feeling lost and overwhelmed. received my master's degree from the University of Chicago and I bring to my practice a multidisciplinary training from Yale University in Genetics (M.S.), Religious Studies (M.A.), and History of Science & Medicine (Ph.D) that deepen my social work commitment to the whole person and their environment. I became a therapist because I wanted to bring that curiosity and depth to the work of helping people change their lives in meaningful ways.
