Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm glad you're here. With over 20 years as a licensed mental health counselor, I’ve learned that no two minds work quite the same—if they did, my job would be a lot easier (and frankly, a lot more boring). I tailor my approach to each client, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for practical, actionable change, Psychodynamic work to unpack early life influences, and Humanistic or Person-Centered therapy for deeper self-exploration. I also integrate mindfulness and other specialized techniques, because sometimes the best breakthroughs happen when we slow down and breathe—yes, even when life feels like a chaotic group chat.

My approach to therapy

Think of me as part guide, part detective, and occasionally your professional “pattern interrupter,” here to help you make sense of things and move forward with intention.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we focus on getting to know you—what’s been going on, what brought you in, and what you’d like to change or better understand. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we go at your pace. We’ll also talk a bit about how I work, including approaches so we can tailor the process to what fits you best. By the end, we’ll begin outlining a direction for our work together—and you’ll hopefully leave thinking, “Okay...that wasn’t as intimidating as I expected.”
