Great to meet you!

If you're carrying something that feels too heavy to keep holding — trauma that hasn't had space to heal, chronic stress that's worn you down, or a season of life where everything feels harder than it should — you're in the right place. I work with adults and seniors navigating trauma, men's issues, chronic conditions, and moments when life feels darkest. I've received specialized training in supporting people who are struggling with thoughts of suicide, so if that's where you are right now, you don't have to minimize it here. This is a space for all of it.

My approach to therapy

I draw from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and Motivational Interviewing — and I'll meet you where you are rather than pushing you into one framework. EMDR can be especially powerful for trauma that feels stuck or keeps resurfacing. IFS helps us understand the different parts of you that may be pulling in different directions. Throughout, you'll have a say in the direction we take. My goal is a space that feels warm and honest, centered on your strengths and what you already know about yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know you — what's bringing you in, what you've tried before, and what feels most important right now. I'll share a bit about how I work and we'll talk about what a path forward could look like. There's no pressure to dive into the deep end right away. Most people leave the first session feeling a little lighter just from having said things out loud. By the end, we'll both have a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit.
