Great to meet you!

Adolescents & Adults | Anxiety • ADHD • Stress • Life Transitions • Academic & Career Challenges

With more than 18 years of counseling experience, I’m passionate about helping adolescents and adults feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. I earned my M.Ed. in Counseling Services from William Paterson University, where I also serve as a professor, bringing both practical experience and a strong educational foundation to my work with clients.

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. I create a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients can be themselves, work through challenges, and develop practical strategies for moving forward. Whether you’re navigating stress, relationships, life transitions, academic or career pressures, or simply looking to grow, my goal is to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying practical steps toward positive change. I meet clients where they are, build upon their strengths, and work together to establish meaningful goals that support greater confidence, resilience, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is creating a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying the challenges and goals that are most important to you. Together, we’ll begin developing realistic, meaningful goals and a plan that builds on your strengths and helps you move toward positive change.
