Great to meet you!

I have a welcoming, calming, and friendly voice and you'll find it easy to quickly share with me in an atmosphere of trust and assurance. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from all ages and walks of life from education and training in counseling with specialized training in marriage and family matters. I specialize in treating, mood disorders, childhood disorders, military life issues, first responder mental health and addiction, problem gambling, problem gaming, marital and family issues.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a calm and laid-back demeanor. I use (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CPT) Cognitive Processing Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and a variety of models of therapy for couples and families. My focus areas and passions are mood disorders and couple / family issues using approaches to add additional ways to view the things in life that cause us problems and dissatisfaction.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect to feel supported and understood. Although there will be times of some discomfort (which is part of growth and healing), you can expect to always be in control of your treatment. You will be challenged with homework outside of your sessions, that if met with your best effort, you can expect growth and healing in ways you might not have thought possible.
