Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brian Ruiz, a licensed clinical social worker passionate about supporting individuals—especially young adults—through stress, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion, dignity, and service, values inspired by both personal and professional experiences. After serving in the military and mentoring youth, I earned my MSW in 2013. Since then, I’ve worked with immigrant families, child protection, addiction recovery, and in-home counseling. I aim to create a safe, respectful space where your beliefs and goals are honored as we work toward resilience and growth.

My approach to therapy

Your journey matters, and you have the strength to thrive. I use a Solution-Focused approach to highlight your strengths and create steps toward your goals. CBT techniques can be integrated to help you explore thoughts and feelings, gain fresh insights, and develop strategies that empower you to overcome stress and anxiety with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Through my professional and personal experiences, I’ve witnessed the incredible resilience of the human spirit. With the right support, perseverance, and a fresh perspective on life’s challenges, I believe you can face and conquer obstacles, emerging stronger, more courageous, and resilient.
