Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. Since 2022, I’ve been working with individuals to support their mental health journeys, bringing a compassionate and evidence-based approach to every session. I specialize in several treatment areas, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, I’m trained in Youth Peer Advocate Training and Veterans Cultural Competence, allowing me to tailor my support to diverse needs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that healing is a deeply personal and transformative journey. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to explore your experiences, understand your challenges, and cultivate the emotional resilience needed to navigate life’s uncertainties. My style is empathetic and client-centered, creating a safe space for you to delve into your psyche, not just to observe it, but to transform it. I draw from evidence-based practices, tailoring my methods to your unique needs. Whether you’re facing trauma, self-doubt, or seeking balance, I’m here to guide you with integrity and firmness, helping you discover your inner strength and move toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect a collaborative and affirming space grounded in empathy, curiosity, and non-judgment. During our first meeting, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, your goals, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy. I’ll meet you where you are and support you in identifying areas you'd like to explore, whether it’s managing stress, navigating life transitions, deepening insight, or building healthier coping strategies. I strive to create a space that balances warmth with structure, where we can slow things down, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
