Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Brian, and I've been working in the mental health field for the past 18 years. I'm a National Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor. I've worked with a wide variety of individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and challenges throughout my career. I'm hopeful that I can play a small part in helping you make the changes you seek in your life. In the past few years, I've begun focusing more on helping men work on their mental health and personal journeys.

My approach to therapy

I strongly believe that every single human being possesses the capacity to change and grow regardless of their current situation, challenges, or their past. I work hard to connect with and be present with my clients while helping to find opportunities each day for small changes. Enough small changes lead to big changes. Even when we have a misstep, every day is a brand new opportunity. I am very non-judgmental and approach every client with the utmost respect in terms of their beliefs, values, and experiences. My most used models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

I usually take the first session or two to allow clients to tell their story at their own pace. We'll eventually create a plan of goals and objectives that we can regularly reference in order to keep us moving and building towards progress.
