Great to meet you!
Briana provides a warm, funny, and safe space for women and LGBTQIA+ adults ready to build real skills, not just talk about them. She’s trauma-trained and integrates parts-work into ACT and DBT to help clients understand what’s actually driving their anxiety, ADHD, and self-critical patterns, then build the tools to manage them day to day. Her focus is practical: learning your own inner workings well enough to work with yourself instead of against yourself.
Briana holds an MS in Mental Health Counseling from LIU and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privileges (LMHC-D). She began her career as a caseworker supporting individuals with severe mental illness in accessing services and organizing their lives, then moved into a college counseling center helping young adults navigate life transitions and build self-esteem, and later ran a grant program supporting single parents balancing school with everything else life demanded. She went on to deepen her training in DBT and trauma-focused care at specialized group practices.
Today, Briana works with clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, self-worth, trauma, gender identity, and life transitions, helping them build a toolbox for both their inner emotional world and the world outside it.
