Great to meet you!

I offer politicized, liberation centered counseling and coaching for activists, organizers, educators, artists, care workers, and Black, Indigenous, Women of Color who are committed to fighting social and political injustices in our communities and around the world. I specialize in treating burnout, self-doubt, racial/cultural trauma, climate anxiety, social, and political stress. My work centers challenging systemic oppression, preserving cultural and historical narratives, and fostering sustainable practices for resilience and healing for marginalized folks. I have over a decade of experience providing therapy, coaching, social advocacy, mentorship, peer support, training, and education.

My approach to therapy

I use a relational, holistic, and culturally affirming approach to therapy. In session, I draw from Liberation Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Eco-Womanist Theory, Feminism, and Relational Therapy. I’m adept at offering solutions, making space for difference, offering alternative perspectives, providing gentle accountability, and supporting clients who want to move in unconventional directions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will feel like a conversation. We'll spend time getting to know you, explore what is working for you in your life and what isn't, and discuss what you'd like to have gained, changed, or learned at the end of our time together. We'll develop a plan for our time together that considers the full, complex picture of your experience in the world and how to help you sustain your role in making an impact in it.
