Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care. My nursing career began with a strong passion for helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, which led me to specialize in psychiatric care. I have experience across a wide range of settings, including inpatient psychiatry, emergency mental health services, outpatient care, and school-based mental health. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, serving individuals ages 5 through 65 years old.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, holistic, and patient-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, respectful space where they feel heard and understood. I take time to consider the whole person—including mental, emotional, physical, and social factors—when developing treatment plans. I value shared decision-making and provide education so clients feel informed and empowered in their care. Treatment may include medication management, therapy recommendations, and lifestyle strategies, always tailored to each individual’s goals, values, and needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a comprehensive, supportive, and judgment-free conversation. We’ll spend time reviewing your mental health history, current concerns, symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any prior treatments. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals and what brings you in, but you’re always in control of what you choose to share. Together, we’ll discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options (such as therapy recommendations, medication when appropriate, or lifestyle strategies), and create an initial plan tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
