Great to meet you!

Hey I'm Briana, people say I'm a generous, helpful, encouraging woman who loves to learning about new people and cultures. I have lived in three countries yet can always learn more. I settled down outside of Norfolk after finishing at ODU. I have been told I'm southern without an accent. I grew up with a father in the armed forces. DBT seem to be my comfort zone after much more crisis experience but I am eclectic in practice.

My approach to therapy

We can look at the whole picture to discover what has obstructed your life and then work together to move it or add more tools to navigate around through it. You have developed habits to keep you alive so far, but likely they need to be "upgraded" or have be distorted by life. Lets find the best fit, there is no best "fix", yet there could be a more helpful upgrade available.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from starting with me is a clinical history interview, meaning asking about what brings you to me and more about your life so far. Later expect some deep questions and activities to do outside of sessions as well.
