Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida and North Carolina. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders (skin-picking, hair-pulling), anxiety, tics/Tourette's, and depression. I also have specialized training in, and a passion for, working with LGBTQ+ folks and college students. Lastly, *I offer letters of support for gender affirming care.* I am passionate about serving the communities that I work with and I look forward to joining you on your therapy journey.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I value a trusting and collaborative relationship, as I view the therapeutic relationship as an essential component of therapy. I approach each session from a place of warmth and appreciation for your lived experience, I strive to deliver multiculturally competent services, and my practice is affirming of the LGBTQ+ community.

What you can expect from our first session

I incorporate evidence-based treatment approaches grounded in multicultural psychotherapy that allows for a collaborative, working relationship focused on helping you achieve your goals. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) to develop individualized treatment approaches that work best for you. I also incorporate mindfulness and feminist therapy practices into my work with clients.
