Great to meet you!
I am a two-time graduate of the Whitney M. Young Jr. School of Social Work at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I witnessed firsthand the challenges that many communities face. Growing up in that environment inspired my passion for social work and my desire to better understand human behavior, emotional wellness, and the power of healing.
As a fully licensed therapist with eight years of professional experience, I am dedicated to helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. I combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with genuine compassion to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in working with clients from the ages of 4 to 40,
When working with children, I understand that therapy looks different than it does for adults. Children often express their emotions through play, creativity, storytelling, movement, and art before they have the words to explain how they feel. I create a safe, engaging environment where children can build emotional awareness, learn healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop confidence while feeling accepted for exactly who they are.
I work with children experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns, ADHD-related challenges, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, school difficulties, grief, family changes, social challenges, and trauma. I believe parents and caregivers are essential partners in the therapeutic process, so I collaborate with families by providing support, education, and practical strategies that can be reinforced at home while respecting each child's individual needs and confidentiality.
