Brianna Brown

I am Brianna R. Brown, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), owner/operator of Lotus Nest Counseling Services, LLC. in Georgia. I currently hold a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University. I have a background in practicing systemic therapy with various organizations and client populations over a course of 7 years.

I have observed and experienced that at times, life can seem dim and we can become “stuck” although we want change and growth. Just like the life of a beautiful lotus flower that blooms out of muddy harsh conditions, we as individuals can evolve and rise above unfavorable circumstances. Lotus Nest Counseling Services, LLC. provides a “nest” for clients to obtain those necessary tools to grow and evolve into the best versions of themselves.

My hope is that clients will take away from sessions the basis of core values that I feel are important for individuals and families to redefine their beliefs. In this way, embracing change will be a transformational experience. Some core values include free will, empowerment, self-esteem, cultural diversity, spiritual diversity, and holistic wellness.
